Green Motion Serbia Rental Terms for travel between 01-Aug-2017 and 31-Dec-2024

Pricing: Pricing is quoted on a ‘per day’ basis (24 hour period)

Driver's Age
Driver Age Requirements
Minimum/Maximum age: 21 to 70 years – Except vehicle group SB-E minimum age is 25 years old
Young driver surcharge applies to ages: N/A
Senior drivers surcharge applies to ages: N/A

Driver's License
A full license held for minimum of 2 years with no major endorsements. UK license holders need to
present a photo card.
If your license is not in Roman alphabet (i.e. Arabic, Greek, Russian or Chinese) you need to bring an
international driver's license and your domestic license.
In the event that a customer arrives at the rental desk without the necessary documentation as
stated above, the booking will be cancelled. In these cases, there will be no refund.

You may be held responsible for damage to or loss of tyres, windscreens, glass and undercarriage.

If you purchase the Excess Reimbursement Insurance from a third party, the credit card holder will
be required to present his/ her credit card at the rental desk in order for the car rental agent to
authorize the deposit.
Third party intangible is 1 000 000 EUR and 200 000 EUR for material damage

Baby seat: €6 per day. Maximum €60 per rental - VAT included - On request.
Infant seat: €6 per day. Maximum €60 per rental - VAT included - On request.
GPS - Satellite Navigational System: €6 per day. Maximum €60 per rental - VAT included - On

One Way Surcharge
The one-way surcharge is dependent on the drop off location.

Belgrade airport/Belgrade downtown is free of charge.
Nis Airport/Nis downtown is free of charge.
Belgrade/Nis is a €60 charge.


Fuel Policy
We operate a Fair Fuel policy; we ask that customers return with the same level of fuel as was
supplied at the time of collection.
Charge for missing fuel €2.4 per litre VAT included
Your vehicle will be supplied with fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges you will need to return it
approximately same level. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved on your credit card
that will be released when you return the car with same amount of fuel. Missing fuel will be charged
on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the
price at the local service station.
Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated in the top section of rate details.


Mileage Policy
Unlimited within Serbia. Contact location in advance, cross border charges may apply.


Country / State Cross Border Travel
It is forbidden to drive our vehicles to Kosovo, Albania, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey.
For other countries, surcharge is 42 EUR per rental VAT included
Please note that if you intend to travel internationally or from one state to the other there may be
restrictions applicable. Cross border charges will apply at the rental desk.


Tax Rate
20% included in the rental price.


Method of Payment
Accepted for deposit: American Express, MasterCard, Visa (not debit), cash
Accept for payment: American Express, MasterCard, Visa (not debit)
A deposit amount of excess will be held against your card(s) for the period of the booking.
Credit card(s) must be in the name of the main driver.
Make sure you have a large enough limit to cover the excess.
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the
credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will
be reimbursed.


Form(s) of ID
A valid photo ID (passport or national ID).


Vehicle Group/Model
Our vehicles are classified into groups using the ACRISS codes for clarity of booking. The group is
indicated in the bottom right of the vehicle image and the description at the top left. The group will
print on your reservation.
Reservations are confirmed for a group and not a particular model unless shown otherwise. We are
unable to guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type unless a guaranteed model group has
been booked.
The vehicle shown on any documentation is for guidance only and may be substituted with an
alternative, similar or upgraded vehicle at our discretion.


Vehicle Condition
Vehicles must be returned to the location/drop off point in the same condition as when it was
picked up/delivered. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the vehicle is thoroughly
checked prior to taking custody of the vehicle.
Whilst in charge of the vehicle the client accepts responsibility for maintaining the roadworthiness of
the vehicle and agrees to take remedial action to avoid unnecessary cost/damage. This will include
maintaining oil levels, tire pressures and other common sense actions to maintain the vehicle if
before authorized. Costs will generally be covered only if it’s authorized in advance from the rental
branch.
Renter returns the vehicle in a clean condition (normal wear and tear excepted). If the vehicle is
exceptionally dirty upon return or if there is damage to the seats, seat upholstery or the carpets an
additional charge for deep cleaning will apply. This charge will be dependent upon the actual state of
the vehicle when returned.
Any damage caused to the vehicle, if returned out of hours, is the responsibility of the hirer until our
staffs have checked in the vehicle.


Voucher
A printed version of your voucher must be produced upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to
present the voucher means the car rental agent may charge you at the local rates. Please note: We
are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the local
agent on collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required documents, the documentation
is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to
release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed.


Smoking Policy
Green Motion operate a no smoking policy for all vehicles. If you have smoked or allowed smoking
within the vehicle charges will apply. This includes allowing cigarette (or cigar) smoke or ash into the
vehicle, which would imply the above. Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the
rental counter.


Animals in your Vehicle
Pets are not allowed in to be transported in our vehicles. A valeting fee may be applied to rectify any
soiling due to animal transportation. Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the
rental counter.


Delivery and collection
€24 per event- VAT included - On request.


Rental Extensions
Please note that it may not always be possible for the hiring branch to extend the hire. Where the
branch agrees to extend the hire, the rental will be charged at the prevailing rate which may be
higher or lower than the original booking rate.


Non authorized rental extension
€500 per rental VAT included. Penalty above the rental charge and the driver will be black listed
(decline for future bookings)


Early Returns/Unused Rental Days
No refunds (partial or full) will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or
cancellations made after the rental start date


Late Returns
A vehicle is hired for a contracted period as detailed on the rental agreement. The return day and
time as selected by the customer at the time of booking will be enforced regardless of delayed
pickup time. If the vehicle is returned outside the grace period, there will be a charge of an
additional day or a late fee.


Amendments
Reservation amendments must be requested in writing at least 24 hours prior to the start of your
rental. Please note that telephone amendments will not be accepted. An amendment request is not
assured and amendments will be treated as a new booking.

Fine payments
Late drop off
For D/O 60 or more minutes, we charge a whole new rental day. Apply for all car groups. If a
customer arrives after this time then a vehicle is not assured. We will do everything possible to
provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and rates may be different to the
original booking.
Flight numbers provided are for informational purposes only. It is the responsibility of the customer
to inform the location of any delays.
Grace period: 2 hours


Lost Keys
Green Motion will charge if keys are lost or damaged. Please note that if a vehicle is stolen and keys
are not returned to the rental location, the hirer will be deemed negligent. Lost keys are deemed as
negligence and are not covered under the insurance excess limitation or risk reduction packages.
Drivers will be liable for all costs relating to recovery, loss of use and repair. This list is not exhaustive.


Fines, Penalties and Administration Charges
It is the responsibility of each hirer to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. When
fines or traffic violations occur and a Green Motion location is involved in administering the charge
then an administration fee will be charged to the customer.


Deep cleaning of the car
€100 per rental VAT included. Penalty will apply for any vehicles that are excessively dirty or
odorous.


No show fee
One rental day per all car groups will be charged if reservation not cancelled 24 hours ahead.
However, the charge will not be made if client shows up in 24 hours frame after the pick-up time.
Reservations will be held for 2.5 hours from the specified reservation time after which they will be
classed as a no-show. If a customer arrives after this time then a vehicle is not assured. We will do
everything possible to provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and rates may
be different to the original booking.


Stop sell
We reserve the right to cancel a rental and refuse service anywhere prior to 24 hours before a
booking. NO GRACE PERIOD AT ANY TIME.

Vehicle Trackers
Some of our vehicles contain tracking devices which will be used in accordance with our data
protection policy.


Complaints
All complaints should be made in writing either through our Online Contact Form found on our
Contact Us page or via email to ics@cs.greenmotion.com within 30 days from the last day of your
rental. Whilst we do try to resolve all cases brought to our attention, those raised after this period
may not be considered. If at any point during the investigation process communication ceases for a
period of more than 30 days, the case will be considered closed and no further action will be taken.


GDPR
All information relating to privacy and data protection when using a Green Motion service will be
contained on our privacy policy which is located on our website – www.greenmotion.com/privacy


General Terms
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions.
Green Motion Limited cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed for
and accepted locally.
Green Motion Limited will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol
or drugs causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The
customer will accept responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exclusive.
When comprehensive insurance is taken out it is to provide the customer with entitlement to drive
and covers the vehicle in the event of an accident. In the case where a customer is found negligent
Green Motion Limited and its locations reserve the right to pursue the customer for the recovery of
all losses incurred.
Calls to Green Motion may be recorded.

The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.

Liability
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
